Chapra, July 27 -- Altogether three children died in separate drowning incidents in a pond and a river during the past 24 hours in Saran district.
According to police, five-year-old Kriti Kumari, daughter of Subhash Rai and a resident of Saraybakhsh village under Bheldi police station limits, drowned after venturing into deep water while bathing in a village pond.
In another incident, 11-year-old Chandan Kumar, son of Bhim Mahto and a resident of Shekhpura village under Sahajitpur police station limits, drowned in a pond while bathing.
In the third incident, 15-year-old Piyush Kumar, son of Phool Babu Prasad and a resident of Maiki Paschim Tola village under Garkha police station limits, drowned while bathing in a river near his village....
