New Delhi, June 21 -- The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested three people in connection with an alleged conspiracy to extort money from a defence equipment manufacturer by issuing life threats in the name of Khalistani and gangster elements.

The accused have been identified as Gurpinder Singh alias Prince (32) and Shamsher Singh alias Sam (35), both residents of Tarn Taran in Punjab, and Jaswant Singh (59), a resident of Amritsar.

According to Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) H.G.S.
