Agartala, July 5 -- The Tripura Human Rights Commission has asked the director of school education to provide a comprehensive report following a complaint regarding alleged irregularities in the mid-day meal scheme and financial misconduct at Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School in the city.

The complaint, submitted by a group of concerned parents, highlights issues with the provision of unhygienic and unsafe meals to students. It also accuses the headmaster of financial mismanagement and corruption.
