Horsens (Denmark), April 30 -- The Indian men's badminton team has been drawn with Chinese Taipei in the quarter-finals of Thomas Cup 2026, held here, on Friday.
India finished as runners-up in Group A, behind defending champions the People's Republic of China and will take on Group C winners Chinese Taipei.
Chinese Taipei began their Thomas Cup campaign by beating Sweden 5-0 before losing 3-2 against the Republic of Korea and overcoming hosts Denmark by the same scoreline to topGroup C.
India, the Thomas Cup 2022 champions, qualified for the quarter-finals following 4-1 and 5-0wins against Canada and Australia before a 3-2 loss to China in their final group game.
