Patna, June 2 -- Amid the ongoing political tussle over the government bungalow occupied by former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi in Patna, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary launched a sharp attack on the Lalu Prasad Yadav family, saying that no government residence is anyone's hereditary property.

Speaking at an event in Muzaffarpur on Tuesday, Choudhary remarked that some people had become overly attached to government residences, adding that "the parents and the son all want separate houses."He said that he is a public servant and that the day his party leadership asks him to do so, he will vacate the Chief Minister's residence within 24 hours and move to his private home.
