Mumbai, July 24 -- Maharashtra BJP chief spokesperson Navnath Ban on Friday alleged that the rally being organised jointly by the Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Sunday was aimed solely at advancing the political careers of Aaditya Thackeray and Amit Thackeray.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP's state headquarters, Ban said that although leaders of both parties had announced that the march would not feature any party flags, its real objective was to strengthen the political future of the Thackeray scions.
