Hyderabad, April 21 -- Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) Joint Action Committee (JAC) Chairman Eeduru Venkanna on Tuesday alleged that the state government has failed to respond to the ongoing RTC strike, even after 41 days since the strike notice was issued.
Speaking to the media, he expressed concern that neither the government nor RTC management had initiated talks with employees.
He said various civil society organisations and RTC workers' groups have extended support to the strike.
Venkanna criticised the authorities for not taking steps towards the merger of RTC with the government and for failing to conduct elections for the recognised employees' union.
