Hyderabad, June 24 -- The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) on Wednesday issued a public advisory warning citizens, government departments, public sector undertakings and private organisations against a growing cyber fraud known as the "Boss Scam" or CEO Impersonation Fraud.
The advisory follows an alert issued by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which reported a sharp rise in such incidents across the country.
More than 300 complaints have been received within a span of nearly 20 days, indicating an emerging threat to organisations and businesses,TGCSB Director Shikha Goel said in a release here.
