Madhepura (Bihar), April 28 -- The Bihar State Religious Trust Board has dismissed trust committee member Sanjeev Kumar Thakur with immediate effect over allegations of liquid consumption and objectionable activities at the revered Baba Singheshwar Sthan temple.
According to official sources, complaints had surfaced that the temple premises were allegedly being misused for inappropriate activities. It was alleged that liquor was consumed within the premises and acts undermining the sanctity of the temple were carried out.
An inquiry was conducted, and a report submitted by the district administration reportedly found prima facie evidence supporting the allegations.
