Khammam, July 10 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday said the Congress government aims to transform Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047, while ensuring inclusive growth through farmer welfare, women's empowerment and transparent governance.
Addressing the Rythu Ashirwada Sabha at Jagannadhapuram in Chintakani mandal in the district, Bhatti said the government's vision was to make Telangana globally competitive rather than limiting its focus to welfare programmes.
He said the Congress government viewed agriculture as a culture and way of life, and not merely as a profession, adding that financial assistance extended to farmers was an investment in the State's economy.
