Hyderabad, Aug. 29 -- Telangana will extend all possible support for promotion of the Telugu language, culture and heritage in Mauritius, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said on Saturday.
A delegation led by Mauritius Minister for Public Service and Administrative Services Lachmuna Raj Pentiah met Vikramarka at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan here.
Vikramarka said Telangana and Mauritius shared close and cordial relations and had common historical and cultural links.
He said Telangana had a special connection with Mauritius through the Telugu language, culture and traditions, and noted that the Telugu community was an important part of the country's multicultural society.
