Hyderabad, March 28 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Staturday said the Telangana government is prepared to order investigations into allegations of illegal mining and sand mafia activities in the state.

He said inquiries could be initiated against Santosh Rao and his father Ravinder Rao in connection with the Sircilla sand mafia.

The government is also ready to probe alleged illegal granite mining linked to former BRS minister Gangula Kamalakar, and reported irregularities involving a company associated with Rajya Sabha member Vaddiraju Ravichandra, the CM said.
