Hyderabad, July 16 -- Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on Thursday said the state government is preparing a roadmap to maximise the benefits of the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and significantly enhance exports to the United Kingdom.
The Minister made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation led by UK Deputy Trade Commissioner (South Asia) Chandru K Iyer at the Secretariat.
He said the trade agreement, which came into effect on Wednesday, provides a major opportunity for Telangana exporters as the UK has removed tariffs on 99 per cent of industrial products imported from India.
