Hyderabad, March 3 -- Telangana on Tuesday successfully met a record peak electricity demand of 18,139 MW, the highest ever in the State's history, without any disruption, Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu said.

The peak demand was recorded at 11.01 am, and the State power utilities managed the load seamlessly, supplying quality power across all sectors.

Congratulating the top officials and staff of the power sector, the Deputy Chief Minister said the achievement reflected Telangana's economic growth, operational efficiency and strong coordination within the power system.
