Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- Telangana has emerged as the top-performing state in the country in cybercrime control in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO)-led PRAGATI review, prompting Director General of Police (DGP) C V Anand to congratulate Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) Director Shikha Goel, Commissioners of Police, Superintendents of Police and the entire TGCSB team for their exemplary performance.
The DGP said Telangana secured the top rank after being evaluated on nine key performance parameters, including cybercrime prevention, investigation, victim assistance, inter-state coordination, capacity building and public awareness.
