Hyderabad, Sept. 2 -- Telangana observed National Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas on Wednesday with statewide awareness programmes aimed at promoting cyber safety, secure digital practices and citizen participation in preventing cybercrime.
The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) coordinated the campaign and provided awareness material in Telugu and English to police units. A total of 438 programmes were conducted across the State, with 82,573 citizens participating.
The programmes focused on digital payments and security, online shopping fraud and investment fraud, educating people on common cyber threats and the need to verify information before making digital payments or investments.
