Hyderabad, March 31 -- Telangana Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy has written to union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, seeking urgent intervention to address the shortage of Auto LPG affecting thousands of LPG-run auto-rickshaws in the state, particularly in Hyderabad.
In his letter, the Minister highlighted that while Telangana is strictly adhering to the Centre's directives amid the ongoing Middle East crisis-ensuring 100 per cent supply of domestic LPG and regulating commercial LPG-the Auto LPG segment has been severely impacted.
He noted that nearly one lakh auto-rickshaws in the state run on LPG and are now facing disruptions due to a daily shortfall of around 55 metric tonnes. The shortage has led to ...
