Hyderabad, May 21 -- Small and medium mango growers in Telangana are gaining access to national and international markets through collective marketing initiatives promoted by the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP).

A notable example is Balakrishna, a farmer from Pebbair village in Wanaparthy district, who recently exported eight crates of Mallika variety mangoes overseas through Be'nishan, a federation of Farmer Producer Organisations functioning as a Farmer Producer Company (FPC).
