Hyderabad, July 31 -- Marking the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons and the Golden Jubilee of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act (BLSA), the Telangana government, in collaboration with NALSAR University of Law and International Justice Mission (IJM), on Thursday launched a statewide campaign to eradicate bonded labour.

At a state conference held in Shamirpet, Telangana State Legal Services Authority (TSLSA) Member Secretary Ch Panchakshari and NALSAR Vice-Chancellor Prof Krishna Deva Rao flagged off the 'Swechaa Ratham', an awareness vehicle that will travel across all 33 districts to educate people about bonded labour, legal rights and available support mechanisms.
