Hyderabad, April 5 -- The Telangana government on Saturday launched three skill development training programmes aimed at empowering transgender persons, at the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Gachibowli.
The programmes were inaugurated by Minister for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens and Transgender Persons, Adluri Laxman Kumar.
Addressing the gathering, the minister said the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is committed to ensuring inclusive development and equal opportunities for all sections of society, including the transgender community.
