Hyderabad, April 26 -- The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TCSB) has launched a statewide operation titled "Operation Crackdown 2.0" to intensify monitoring of cybercrime offenders and prevent repeat offences.
The coordinated drive, carried out in association with Law & Order police units from April 25, focuses on previously arrested cybercrime accused to track their current activities and curb further involvement in illegal operations, the Bureau Director Shikha Goel said in a release here on Sunday.
She said a total of 3,567 cybercrime accused were arrested during 2024-25, of which 614 Telangana-based accused were shortlisted for intensive verification, particularly those linked to major financial frauds and multiple cases.
