Hyderabad, July 17 -- The Telangana High Court on Friday permitted the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to hold its 'Yuva Sangrama Sadassu' (Youth Convention) at Saroornagar in Hyderabad on Saturday, subject to certain conditions.

The Court directed the party to conduct the event peacefully and refrain from blocking roads or indulging in any provocative activities.

The BRS had approached the High Court through a lunch motion after the police did not grant permission for the convention.

During the hearing, Government Counsel Mahesh Raje, appearing for the Home Department, submitted that intelligence inputs had indicated the possibility of law and order issues and pointed to the absence of adequate parking arrangements at the venue.
