Hyderabad, June 21 -- A Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted by the Telangana government on has decided to formulate a joint action plan with opposition-ruled states and explore legal and constitutional options to challenge the proposed VBG RAM G Act-2025, citing concerns over its impact on rural employment and states' rights.
The meeting on Saturday, chaired by Irigation and food and civil supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy and attended by Ministers Seethakka, Tummala Nageswara Rao and Dr Vivek Venkataswamy, reviewed the implications of the proposed legislation on the Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, local bodies and the agricultural sector.
