Hyderabad, May 21 -- The Telangana government will organise "Women's Week" celebrations across the state from May 25 to 31 under the 'Praja Palana - Pragathi Plan', with a focus on strengthening women's economic, social, and political empowerment.
A wide range of programmes will be conducted for women, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), adolescent girls, persons with disabilities, and elderly women. Activities include loan melas, livelihood initiatives, health camps, awareness campaigns, infrastructure development works, and women's safety programmes, an official statement said.
