Hyderabad, May 18 -- The Telangana government is set to launch the prestigious "Indiramma Kutumba Jeevitha Bima Padhakam" (IKJBP), a universal life insurance scheme aimed at providing an insurance benefit of Rs 5 lakh to every household in the state.
As per the directions of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, a Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting has been convened on May 19 at 1700 hours to finalise the modalities for implementation of the scheme.
The meeting will be chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, who also holds the Finance, Planning and Energy portfolios.
Ministers N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy will participate as members of the committee.
