Hyderabad, May 21 -- Telangana Chief Minsiter A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday directed officials to formulate a dedicated policy to encourage establishment of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) beyond Hyderabad's Core Urban Regional Economy (CURE) area, with a focus on decentralising employment opportunities to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in Telangana.
During a review meeting of the IT and Industries departments held along with Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu here, the Chief Minister instructed officials to incentivise companies setting up GCCs along the Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Warangal highway corridors, identified as CURE and Beyond CURE growth zones.
