Hyderabad, May 17 -- The Telangana government will organise Tourism Week celebrations across the state from May 18 to 23 to showcase Telangana's culture, traditions, historical heritage and tourism potential to the world.
The celebrations are being held as part of the government's prestigious initiative, 'Praja Palana - Pragathi Pranalika' and are being jointly organised by the Departments of Tourism, Language and Culture, Archaeology and Heritage, along with the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM).
Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao will participate in several inaugural programmes on Monday to mark the beginning of the week-long celebrations.
