Hyderabad, Aug. 12 -- Lieutenant General C. Rajesh Pushkar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command of the Indian Army, met Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at MCRHRD here on Wednesday, with Minister for Irrigation and Civil Supplies Uttam Kumar Reddy also participating in the meeting.
The Chief Minister said the Telangana government was ready to collaborate with the Army to encourage the state's youth to participate in various Army recruitment drives. He requested that training programmes be conducted at suitable district headquarters to provide greater opportunities for local youth.
