Hyderabad, July 20 -- The Telangana government on Monday launched the Indiramma Low Income Group (LIG) Housing Scheme for the Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) area, covering Hyderabad up to the Outer Ring Road (ORR), with plans to construct one lakh affordable flats for economically weaker families.
Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, and Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin formally launched the scheme at the Secretariat and announced the eligibility criteria and application process.
Under the scheme, the Telangana Housing Board will construct multi-storey housing complexes on government land across GHMC, Cyberabad and Medchal-Malkajgiri. I...
