Hyderabad, June 27 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Women & Child Welfare Minister Seethakka (Dr Danasari Anasuya) on Saturday launched e-autos for 14 neighbourhood centres for persons with disabilities, stating that the government is committed to providing equal opportunities and dignity, rather than sympathy, to the differently-abled.

Launching the initiative at Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan on the birth anniversary of Helen Keller, the Minister said the Congress government, under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, was expanding opportunities for persons with disabilities in education, employment, rehabilitation and livelihoods.
