Hyderabad, May 26 -- As part of the Women's Week celebrations, Telangana Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Women & Child Welfare, Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, on Tuesday, inaugurated the "Sakhi Nivas" Working Women's Hostel and the "Sakhi Kendram" One-Stop Centre at Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Seethakka said the State Government is establishing working women's hostels to ensure safe accommodation for women migrating from rural areas to Hyderabad in search of employment opportunities. She stated that the newly inaugurated hostel can accommodate nearly 150 women and includes special facilities for mothers arriving with young children.
