Hyderabad, April 19 -- Telangana Minister for Women and Child Welfare D.Anasuya Seethakka on Saturday stressed that effective implementation of laws is critical and called for coordinated action across departments to combat trafficking and bonded labour.
Addressing the gathering at a State-Level Convergence Workshop on Combating Human Trafficking Pertaining to Bonded Labour organized by the Women Safety Wing of Telangana Police, in collaboration with the International Justice Mission (IJM) here, Seethakka emphasised strengthening local livelihoods, self-help groups and community systems to reduce vulnerability to trafficking.
