Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Thursday described the Sri Samatha Murthy Spiritual Centre at Muchintal near here as a timeless symbol of harmony, equality and spiritual awakening, saying it carries forward the universal message of Jagadacharya Bhagavad Ramanujacharya.
The Governor, accompanied by his wife Janaki Shukla, visited the spiritual centre and offered prayers at the 216-foot Panchaloha Statue of Equality dedicated to Bhagavad Ramanujacharya.
The couple also visited the 108 Divya Desams, witnessed the Harathi ceremony and offered prayers at the sanctum of Sri Vaikuntha Nath Bhagavan.
They received theertham, prasadam and Vedic blessings from scholars.
