Hyderabad, June 8 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Monday said the state government's fertiliser app has emerged as a model for the country by bringing transparency, efficiency and accountability in fertiliser distribution.
In a statement, the Minister said the technology-driven system introduced in the interest of farmers was receiving appreciation nationwide, including from the union Agriculture Ministry, and several neighbouring states were now planning to develop similar applications.
He said the app enables farmers to check fertiliser stock availability with local dealers through mobile phones, reducing unnecessary travel and long queues. Features such as district-wise stock verification, mandal mapping, boo...
