Hyderabad, June 3 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday handed over a Rs 1 crore accident insurance cheque to the family of an NPDCL employee who lost his life while performing official duties.
At a programme held at Praja Bhavan here, Bhatti presented the cheque to Sonkamble Swapna, wife and nominee of late Sonkamble Pramod Kumar, a lineman working with the Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (NPDCL).
Pramod Kumar, who was posted in the Basara Division of NPDCL, died in an accident on March 24, 2025, while discharging his duties.
