Khammam, Sept. 27 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka set aside protocol and interacted with local residents over a cup of tea during his visit to Mudigonda mandal headquarters in the Madhira Assembly constituency on Sunday.
Bhatti stopped at Neel Kamal Tea Stall, sat on a bench alongside locals and spoke to people about their problems and the implementation of government welfare schemes. Several residents and youngsters gathered around him, with some taking selfies with the Deputy Chief Minister.
He interacted with women and enquired whether welfare schemes were reaching eligible beneficiaries.
Speaking to roadside vendors Banoth Ramji and Narasamma, he sought their views on the ongoing road-widening works.
