Hyderabad, March 18 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Wednesday strongly defended the Musi River rejuvenation project in the Assembly, countering criticism from BRS leader KT Rama Rao during Question Hour.

Bhatti asserted that the government is committed to rehabilitating every individual living along the Musi riverfront, regardless of whether they possess legal title deeds.

He said apartments would be constructed within the same locality to ensure that displaced families are not uprooted from their surroundings.
