Hyderabad, July 13 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday blamed the previous BRS government for the structural failures of the Kaleshwaram barrages, alleging that they were built by ignoring expert and engineering advice, leading to the collapse of structures within just three years.
Bhatti, along with Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, visited the J Chokka Rao Devadula Lift Irrigation Project, where they reviewed water storage levels, Godavari inflows and the project's progress with senior irrigation officials before addressing the media.
