Hyderabad, June 4 -- : Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) C V Anand on Thursday stressed the need for strengthening police training institutions and directed officials to focus on emerging challenges such as NDPS enforcement, cybercrime investigation, road safety and implementation of the Motor Vehicles Act.

During his visit to the Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy Telangana Police Academy (RBVRR TGPA) after assuming charge as DGP, Anand said professional training plays a crucial role in effective policing and assured full support from the Chief Office for conducting training programmes and mandatory courses for police personnel.
