Hyderabad, May 19 -- The Drugs Control Administration, Telangana, on Tuesday issued a public advisory assuring uninterrupted access to essential and life-saving medicines during the one-day nationwide bandh called by the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD) on May 20.
In a press note, the DCA stated that a meeting was held with the Telangana chapter of the AIOCD, during which it was decided that pharmacy stores attached to hospitals would remain open to avoid inconvenience to patients and the public.
The administration also said district chapters of the AIOCD would remain in close coordination with Drug Inspectors to ensure emergency medicines are made available from local medical stores whenever required. Corporate ph...
