Hyderabad, Aug. 31 -- Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Monday directed officials to work in close coordination with South Central Railway to resolve pending issues and expedite railway projects across the state.
At a review meeting with South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava and senior officials at the Secretariat, the Chief Secretary reviewed issues related to land acquisition, administrative approvals, underpasses, overbridges, approach roads, road widening and railway line doubling.
Officials informed that DPRs for 17 railway projects covering 2,023 km at an estimated cost of Rs 50,870 crore have been submitted to the Railway Board.
