Hyderabad, Aug. 1 -- Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Saturday reviewed the state's preparations for the forthcoming Southern Zonal Council meeting scheduled to be held in Mahabalipuram, Chennai, on August 20.
Chairing a preliminary review meeting at the Secretariat, the Chief Secretary examined the agenda items proposed to be taken up at the Council meeting and directed the departments concerned to thoroughly scrutinise all issues relating to Telangana.
Jaju instructed the Planning Department to identify key inter-state and regional issues that could be raised by the state before the Southern Zonal Council.
