New Delhi/Hyderabad, April 15 -- BJP Rajya Sabha member K Laxman on Wednesday termed Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's proposal to link delimitation to Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) as "unconstitutional" and contrary to established norms.

Addressing the media, Laxman said delimitation has always been based on census data as per constitutional provisions, and any attempt to base it on income levels would violate the principle of "one person, one vote, one value."He urged Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge to clarify their party's stand.
