Hyderabad, June 5 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday visited the third lift of the Vattem Pump House near Kummera village in Nagarkurnool district and reviewed the progress of works being carried out under the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS).
The Chief Minister, who is on a two-day inspection tour of irrigation projects in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district, interacted with officials and sought details regarding the status of the project works.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that around Rs 3,300 crore had been spent on the project between 2020 and 2023, while an additional Rs 800 crore had been utilised from 2023 till date. They stated that the remaining pending civil works would be completed ...
