Hyderabad, April 19 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday met Governor Shiva Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan, reportedly with a focus on pending nominations under the Governor's quota to the Legislative Council.

According to official sources, the Chief Minister urged the Governor to approve the names of Prof M Kodandaram and former cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin for appointment as Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs).

The meeting assumes significance as Azharuddin, who is currently serving as a minister, is yet to become a member of either House of the State Legislature.
