Hyderabad, Aug. 11 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday directed officials to expedite the Old City Metro works under Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2 and initiate the tender process for the proposed corridor.
At a high-level review meeting on Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL), the Chief Minister ordered officials to speed up road widening works along the 7.5-km MGBS-Chandrayangutta stretch and complete the pending land acquisition for the project at the earliest.
He also directed officials to consult the Delhi Metro on the latest technology and seek necessary technical guidance for the Old City Metro corridor.
