Hyderabad, Aug. 2 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday visited the historic Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad and offered silk robes to the presiding deity as the annual Bonalu festivities continued with religious fervour.
The Chief Minister performed special pujas amid Vedic chants after being accorded a grand traditional welcome by the temple authorities with mela talas.
Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka) and Konda Surekha accompanied him.
Minister Konda Surekha offered Bonam to the Goddess, while Minister Ponnam Prabhakar presented the ceremonial first Bonam on behalf of the Telangana Government.
