Hyderabad, June 1 -- The Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Monday arrested 11 people, including two alleged key organisers from Gujarat and an Afghan national, in connection with an online betting racket linked to the DafaBet platform.

The network operated through a complex web of mule bank accounts, fake firms, and technical support teams spread across multiple states, according to a top CID official.

Addressing a press conference, Telangana CID Director General Charu Sinha said the investigation was launched after the state government constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe online betting applications and related fraud cases.
