Hyderabad, Sept. 6 -- NITI Aayog member Dr V K Saraswat met Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the State Secretariat on Sunday to discuss a strategic roadmap for the proposed Telangana Silicon Photonics Mission.
The discussions centred on developing a phased plan to establish a comprehensive silicon photonics ecosystem in Telangana, covering research, chip design, manufacturing, packaging, testing and supply-chain development.
They also discussed the future action plan for Photonics Valley Corporation and the possibility of aligning the Telangana mission with India Semiconductor Mission 2.0.
