Hyderabad, June 9 -- Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C. Sudarshan Reddy on Tuesday called for the successful implementation of the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state.
The Special Summary Revision process in Telangana is scheduled to begin on June 25. In this connection, a training programme for Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) from across the state was conducted at the Chief Electoral Officer's office in BRK Bhavan.
Addressing the officials, Sudarshan Reddy directed them to treat the electoral roll revision process as a high priority exercise and ensure inclusion of all eligible voters while removing the names of ineligible persons from the rolls.
